Victor Mugo is a Future Africa Forum contributor and expert. Victor Mugo is a Borlaug-Adesina Fellow – one of 10 fellows that are considered to be the new crop of young food and agribusiness entrepreneurs working to help end global hunger. He is the Regional Coordinator of the Climate Smart Agriculture Youth Network (CSAYN) and works to catalyse youth engagement in climate action, unlock decent employment opportunities for youth in the agricultural sector and to transform young people to active players in cultivating a more food secure world.

In addition, he is a lead author of the UNEP’s Global Environment Outlook for Youth in Africa, a publication that conveys the Africa youths’ perceptions, attitudes and aspirations on Africa’s natural resource management and environmentally sustainable development. He is a regular columnist for the Business Daily and has extensively written opinion and analysis columns on platforms including UNICEF, CIAT, CCAFS, CGIAR Big Data among others.

Victor is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Development Finance from Strathmore University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi (UoN). He was a 2017 Young African Leadership Institute (YALI) Fellow.
