Future Africa Forum founder, Gerald Chirinda attended and spoke at an invite-only, event at Wilton Park, on “Turbocharging youth employment in Sub-Saharan Africa: A New Approach”. Some of the ideas generated were centered around the development of a youth-centered and multifaceted approach that could be used as a response to the unemployment crisis in Sub-Saharan Africa. A detailed report on the event will be shared as soon as it is available. Gerald also had the privilege of discussing and exploring what can be done to tackle this complex issue with Baroness Patricia Scotland, the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, alongside two other young people Abella Bateyunge from Tanzania and Oko Armah from Ghana in this podcast.
