Elita Banda is a Future Africa Forum contributor and expert. Elita Banda is a Communications Consultant currently working with the World Bank office in Lesotho. Born and raised in Lesotho, Elita is passionate about the socio-economic development of her country and the Africa continent. She has an interest in the role governing institutions play in creating a conducive environment for growth and development. Elita is the Curator of the Global Shapers Maseru Hub. She holds a Bachelor of Corporate Communication from the University of the Free State in South Africa, a Bachelor of International Affairs from Sun Moon University in South Korea, and a Master of Development Policy (MDP), with a concentration on Trade and Industry, from the Korean Development Institute’s (KDI) School of Public Policy and Management.
