Evans Baines-Johnson is a Future Africa Forum contributor and expert. Evans Baines-Johnson is a Development Policy Analyst at the Mayor’s Office in the Freetown City Council in Sierra Leone. In his role he works on Disaster Risk Planning and Environmental Management. He helps local communities build resilience in preventing flooding, fire and other disasters through community-led participatory and planning approaches. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Sheffield in the UK. He’s passionate about Environment management, wellbeing, renewable energy and development Policy planning. He’s a 2015-2016 Chevening Scholar.
