Daniel Owusu Acheampong is a Future Africa Forum contributor and expert. Daniel is a young professional who is passionate about the Economic Development of the African Continent. He is currently working in the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) as a lead on Africa and Prosperity Strategy. His previous experience includes working in DFID/DIT’s Trade for Development team on Unilateral Preferences, and in DIT’s Trade Policy Directorate on Goods Policy (Rules of Origin) for existing and new FTAs. He holds a Masters in African Development (LSE) and an undergraduate degree in Financial Economics with Econometrics.
