Bortey Isaac Newton is a Future Africa Forum contributor and expert.Bortey has over three years of experience in public policy analysis and public sector auditing. Currently, Newton is a Performance Auditor with the Ghana Audit Service. In his work, he focuses on auditing government agencies to ensure resources allocated to them are utilized in accordance with economy, effectiveness and efficiency. He previously worked with the Public Policy think tank—Institute of Economic Affairs, Ghana (IEA-Ghana) — where he contributed to shaping policies through research and advocacy. Bortey holds a Masters in Development Policy.
